The latest results from an IPART survey into Central Coast Water shows the organisation continues to fall in all four categories since it was included in the survey in April 2021.
IPART says the decline is “marginal”.
Customers are asked to rate Central Coast Water on:
# delivering value for money
# trust
# reputation in the community
# satisfaction overall as a service provider
In all four categories, the Central Coast continues to fall in the rolling surveys.
The Hunter and the Central Coast are compared with a Victorian provider, Barwon Water which always comes out on top.
IPART has been surveying Sydney Water and Hunter Water customers since 2019 and began including Central Coast Council in the Survey in the 2020-21 financial year.
“We survey customers for their views on their utility 4 times a year,” IPART said.
“In each round of the Survey, we aim to survey 100 customers per utility, totalling around 400 customers per utility per year.
“Since we started the Survey, Sydney Water and Hunter Water’s performance has increased but Central Coast Council’s performance has decreased.
“However, these changes are marginal,” IPART said today, September 15.
